Moss-covered ruins of Ta Prohm

Series: Among the Temples of Angkor · Digital

Ta Prohm at Angkor: sandstone walls and a collapsing gable under the canopy of tall trees, the stone stained green and grey with moss and lichen. A carved doorway with round balusters leads into the shadows, with a smaller window in the wall next to it. On the left, the edge of a richly carved tower, and fallen blocks scattered over the sandy ground. Sun comes through the leaves in soft patches. Quiet, and slowly being taken over by the forest.
