A weathered sandstone tower of Angkor Wat rises above a steep stone staircase, its tiers covered in carved figures and plant motifs. A dark doorway opens at the top of the steps, and the stepped base below is layer upon layer of moulded stone. On the left, a long gallery with balustered windows runs under a stone roof, with trees behind. Dry grass in front and a clear blue sky.
