Motorbikes at the North Gate of Angkor Thom

The North Gate of Angkor Thom again, this time from the other side. Two motorbikes pass on the road, one riding into the arch and the other coming out towards the camera. Sandstone towers carved with faces rise above the gate, and the old city wall runs into the trees on both sides. Along the road lie rows of worn stone figures and blocks, all that's left of the balustrades that once lined the way in. Yellow-green leaves and warm afternoon light under a pale sky.
