The causeway to Preah Khan

Series: Among the Temples of Angkor · Digital

A wide sandy causeway leads through tall forest to Preah Khan, one of the temples of Angkor, with rows of carved stone posts on both sides. Each post carries a worn figure, and the rows shrink into the distance towards the entrance, where a few visitors look tiny against the stone. Tall trees arch over the path and throw patches of shade on the ground. Everything leads straight to the temple.
