A Nazaré street ending at the ocean

A narrow street in Nazaré runs straight down between pale houses to the beach, where a band of sand meets the blue Atlantic. Iron balconies, green shutters, street lamps and tangled wires line both sides, with small shop signs and awnings on the ground floors. At the bottom of the street the ocean sits in a frame of houses, like a window. Clear sky, a calm midday.
