Bougainvillea over a blue garden gate
Series: Under the Greek Sun · Digital
Two great clouds of bougainvillea, one scarlet and one bright pink, hang over a whitewashed courtyard on a Greek island. Below them a narrow blue wooden gate is set into the wall, with a blue shutter peeking out on the right. A stack of white plastic chairs leans against the house next to a small electricity meter, and fallen petals lie on the white-jointed paving. The sun throws soft leaf shadows on the walls, and white clouds drift across the blue sky.
