Octopus drying on a line above the sea

A row of octopuses hangs from a thin red line strung above clear turquoise water, their tentacles curling down towards the waves. Behind them a low, pale rocky shore runs along the horizon, and a few white clouds sit in a wide blue sky. Close by, the water is greenish; further out it turns deep blue, with small ripples catching the light. Sharp all the way, from the octopus to the far coast.
