A cable car cabin hangs halfway between two steel pylons above wide, groomed pistes in the Swiss Alps. Skiers and snowboarders are small dark dots scattered across the slope, each trailing a faint line in the corduroy snow. Higher up, a building and more pylons sit below a sunlit rock face. Hard sun and long pylon shadows turn the cables and slopes into something close to a drawing.
