Two snowshoers on a vast untouched slope
Series: Winter Scenes of Switzerland · Digital
Two people on snowshoes climb a broad, smooth slope in the Swiss Alps, leaving a line of fresh prints behind them. They're small and low in the picture; the rest is sweeping curves of snow with a few dark rocks showing through. Fainter tracks wind across the hillside further off. A strip of pale sky at the top hints at how high the ridge is and how long the climb.
