Turquoise Oeschinensee through fir branches

Series: Analog Alps: Swiss Landscapes · Film

Far below, between fir branches and thin trees on a steep slope, the Oeschinensee glows turquoise. Across the lake a massive grey rock wall rises in terraces, with tufts of grass on the ledges and a pale strip of shore at its foot. Sun falls on the cliffs and lights up the needles in the foreground. Looking straight down, you see how deep the drop is and how bright the water.
