Snowbound chalets below the peaks of Melchsee-Frutt
Series: Analog Alps: Swiss Landscapes · Film
Deep snow on the roofs of the wooden chalets at Melchsee-Frutt, their pink and red shutters bright against the dark timber. Behind the houses, a rocky summit rises above smooth white slopes, the ridges in sunshine and the lower slopes in soft shade. Not a single cloud in a deep blue sky. On film the snow looks gentle and the colours a little warmer.
