Two skiers in matching orange jackets glide down a gentle snowy slope in the Swiss Alps, past a red marker pole and a few lone fir trees. Behind them, a long ridge of rock and snow climbs towards a wall of peaks half lost in low grey cloud. Everything else is muted, nearly monochrome, so the orange jackets are the only warm colour. Flat, overcast light, and very still.
