Black-and-white peak above two winter hikers
Series: Winter Scenes of Switzerland · Digital
A black-and-white view of a sharp rocky summit above a wide, rippled snowfield in the Swiss Alps. The slopes below are all hollows and drifts, catching light and shade in soft greys. At the bottom, two hikers with backpacks walk side by side along a flat track, and two more are just specks higher up. Almost half the picture is empty sky.
